  • Artist Statement<br /> With my camera I explore order and beauty in nature. I endeavor to capture those fleeting moments when light touches a leaf, a ripple, a wave. I love vibrant colors that energize. I also seek soft palettes that convey peace and serenity.<br /> <br /> Seeking the best light, I wake up at 4am, trudge uphill in the dark, set up my tripod in twilight and wait for those first rays to light up the scene, highlighting the crests of dunes, throwing long shadows, and creating magical combinations of light and land.<br /> <br /> Bio<br /> Abhi Ganju is a physician who lives and practices in the Chicago area. A Vermont trip in 1997 inspired an enduring passion for nature photography that has since “taken over my life.” A dozen photo workshops, a thousand rolls of film and voila! A second career as a fine art photographer was launched. Abhi has studied with nationally renowned photographers and has taken courses at the Art Institute of Chicago.<br /> <br /> Abhi is most drawn to visual design and color. Her award winning photographs have been displayed in juried exhibitions, art galleries and health care settings.
